Tenure of Scheme:
Five Year is tenure of Scheme which is divided into two segment tenure for production year and tenure for incentive disbursement year:
As per Scheme: Tenure for Production year: FY 2023-24 to FY 2027-28
Tenure for Incentive disbursement year: FY 2024 – 25 to FY 2028-29
In the case of specific product categories, the initial year deferred by two (2) years.
Eligibility Criteria:
Companies or JV, registered in India under the Companies Act 2013, ensuring end-to-end manufacturing of applied product sub-category domestically, where the input material is melted and poured within the country using iron ore/ scrap/ sponge iron/pellets, etc.
Third party outsourcing is allowed up to 20% of value addition
Net worth of applicant ≥ 30% of Committed investment (FY preceding Application submission year).
Committed Investment ≥ Threshold investment.
Minimum unit capacity to be installed as per Annexure-III.
Committed rate of incremental production (%) ≥ Threshold incremental production rate (%).
Flexibility provided for installation of more than 1 unit by same company.
